Workforce Brief Guide
A practical structure for civil, mechanical, electrical, oil and gas, infrastructure and cleaning manpower enquiries.

Define roles and activities
Start with the trade category and describe the work to be performed. For mechanical enquiries, specify the fabrication or fitting activity. For civil requirements, explain the labour or carpentry tasks. For electrical enquiries, set out the intended electrical role and work environment.
List relevant experience or other project requirements explicitly. These should be discussed and checked as part of the enquiry rather than assumed from a general service description.
Explain numbers, location and timing
Include the anticipated number of people for each role and the intended work location. Add preferred timing and expected duration if known. For multiple sites, provide a separate breakdown.
If the programme is provisional, identify the dates or numbers that may change. A clear distinction between confirmed needs and preferences makes the discussion more useful.
Prepare the questions you need answered
Ask about the proposed scope, availability and commercial arrangements. Clarify the working environment, supervision and site requirements through the appropriate project channels.
Your initial message can be concise. Use the enquiry form to introduce the requirement, then discuss further details directly with AQ MANPOWER.
